*** HEAVY RAIN EXTENDING FROM NORTHERN WESTERN AUSTRALIA THROUGH CENTRAL AUSTRALIA WITH BIG FALLS ALREADY RECORDED *** Alice Spring recorded 57mm in the 24 hrs to 9am this morning making it the wettest day in five years. Other big falls through southern parts of the Northern Territory overnight and more to come. Here are some of the higher rainfall readings coming through from Northern Territory and Western Australia NORTHERN TERRITORY Arltunga 100mm Tennant Creek AP 68mm Wollogorang70mm Centre Island 80mm Cape Wessel 58mm WESTERN AUSTRALIA Curtin RAAF 135mm Cygnet Bay 112mm Broome 43mm West Roebuck 34mm This rain will gradually spread into northern areas of SA and into south eastern Australia over the coming days with substantial falls in some parts. In WESTERN AUSTRALIA there is a FLOOD WATCH for Northern and Western Kimberley and also the Northern Interior thanks to more heavy rain forecasted. In the NORTHERN TERRITORY there is a FLOOD WATCH for Western and Eastern Inland Rivers. In SOUTH AUSTRALIA there is a FLOOD WATCH for parts of the North West and North East Pastoral districts, the Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Riverland, Murraylands and Upper South East.
