***HELP*** This guy was found slumping against a fence post as one of our volunteers was driving by. She thought he was dead, so asked her fiancee to help her pick him up for a proper burial. Well, guess what - Jasper was not dead! Close to it, but had not totally given up yet. Our awesome volunteers rushed him in for medical care and this is what we found...he is completely riddled with shot after being on the receiving end of a shotgun blast. Its a miracle that he survived for so long. Aside from the horrible shooting discovery, he is also covered from head to toe in ticks, emaciated and loaded with intestinal parasites. Right now he is receiving medical treatment, along with some major TLC. We have high hopes that we will see that first tail wag sometime soon. Please keep Jasper in your prayers and send him some positive thoughts! We are trying our best to get him through this so that he can one day enjoy a loving family.
