These mercenaries must be the “Magnificent Seven” of the ancient world as they are capable of saving a kingdom for a few gold coins. The huge bloody battles are well done and graphic and “The Rock” fits the Hercules powerful legend well with a little human sensitivity thrown in. The story of deceptive kings vying for power has been done many times before and this time its done well but not all that special. 3 stars.
