I wonder how people might feel if a person representing a country were an Atheist, and had gifted God Delusion to another state head during an official visit. Being an Atheist, I would have called him a jackass. In fact, we had a non-believer as our first PM, who did not believe it to be a good statesmanship to piss off the religious, on the occasion of a Japan visit. If the person were a Muslim minister and had gifted Quran, the Hindutvawadis would have created a rampage by now. Yes, as a secularist I am offended. Not because someone named Narendra Modi presented Gita to someone else, but because the PM of this country who represents everyone including non-Hindus and secularists, has indulged in such a cheap and pathetic gimmick.
