Twitter and FB Trend Strategy : 1) Trend Dates : -> 14th August, 15th August : HNY Teaser/Trailer will be launching during this time. Also India’s Independence day is during this time. Thus, our trend will get mass coverage and better reach. I think we can atleast have 2 trends related to HNY and trend it for continuously 2 days – 14th August and 15th August. –> New Trailers and Songs Trend – As release date will be nearer, HNY team will start releasing more trailers and song teasers of the film. We will trend it as per the announce of the launching date of the new trailer and song. –> Slam Tour Trends : SRK and whole HNY team will be in USA and Canada during Sep 19 to 28. Daily Trends (for example) 19th Sep Houston – Trend can be #HNYTeamHouston or #HNYTeamRocksHouston or something like that…There are 6-7 cities and we can trend for all of that during the specified time. –> Pre-Release Trends Dates : 17 October to 20th October : 1-2 trends daily in twitter and facebook. This should give collections boost in 2nd week weekdays. 5) Guru Nanak Jayanti also falls on Nov 6, 2014 – Thursday. This will make sure that collections are good at the end of 2nd week. 6) Happy New Year is a film wil SRK-DP pair. This fair is hit in previous films and public likes the pair. Thus, collections will get a boost due to the pair factor. 7) Happy New Year is a Multi-Star film. Apart from SRK-DP, it also has Abhishek Bachhan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and lots of other actors in cameo role. This will surely help in the promotion of the film which will eventually create more buzz for the film.
