“Have I been so long a time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, ‘Show us the Father’? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself; but the Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the very works’ sake. Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth in Me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto My Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it. I speak that which I have seen with My Father, and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.” Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid! What? Know ye not that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? “For two,” saith He, “shall be one flesh.” But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every other sin which a man doeth is outside the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you and which ye have from God, and that ye are not your own? And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father.” Therefore thou art no more a servant but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
