"He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” (Jere. 17:8) When reading this scripture I began to ponder on the thought, where are your roots planted and what or who is giving you life? Its so easy for us to rely on our own abilities and put our trust in self, BUT We ought to be rooted in Christ Jesus. He is our source of life and a ever present help in time of Need. If your roots are connected to anything else but Christ your tree will not be able to stand when the storms come your way. Stay CONNECTED to your LIFE source!
