[He] who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed... [Al-Mulk: 2] Part of this life is being tested and tried, dealing with difficulties and hardships. We are all tested in our own way. For Muslim Americans (and other Muslims around the world) dealing with Islamophobia *is* part of that test. Dealing with blatant bigotry and prejudice is part of that test. Never let yourself give up hope. Yes its difficult, tests are meant to be difficult, but remember that Allah will never test us with something that He knows we cant handle. May Allah give us the strength, courage, and patience to persevere. Ameen.
