@HealthFacts: These HMOs are cheating their patients. There is an amount collected on every HMO patient and some patients may not have any reason to visit their hospitals for months. When they eventually visit for a particular reason, they may not get every thing they should get. Take for instance, a patient presents at the dental clinic for a complaint after several months of no visit and after thorough assessment, the patient needs 3 Amalgam fillings and 1 dental extraction. Some of the HMOs may tell you the patient is only covered for 1 amalgam filling and the dental extraction. This is a patient whose salary has been deducted every month for a period of time. Why is he not covered for all the procedures??? Health insurance??? Health care financing???
