Heres the deal. I walked away some time ago from all pursuits - TopicsExpress

Heres the deal. I walked away some time ago from all pursuits of worldly wealth. I took to heart Seek First the Kingdom of God and my right standing with The Father and believed that all my families and my own needs would would be provided to us by The Hand of God. This does not mean that I stopped working. I work hard it was just that I decided that I was going to make Jesus my boss and believe for a good work no matter what the cost. Since this time (some time ago) my family and I have been stripped down to the necessities in life. Remaining faithful to the works of The lord and to our tithe (not out of obligation or fear) out of faith in His ways to get us what we need. We have found that the less we need and the more we can give... the wealthier we have all become. As a Preacher with a roof over our head, access to clean drinking water, food in our bellies, clothes on our back and real love in our house today. This song speaks a great deal to me. My walk through childhood hurts, years of active addiction, having seen my share of the haves and the have nots and hearing many peoples sides of things. All before finding my own reconciliation to the Father i through the love of Christ. I find this song all has a verse in here that speaks to me. Let me end with this with a little story about a grandfather I know. Whos chorus of this song brought to my mind. A wonderfully benevolent man in his mid 80s once told me. Scott, if there was a car dealer who had 1 million cars and he could sell them all for 30,000 dollars...that would be a lot of money wouldnt it? I sad Oh yeah. Then he said or he could sell every car he had to a family that really needed a car for one dollar and that man could still make a million dollars. youtu.be/IzIvWMoKsxs
