**Heroes needed** Walter, Winnie and Winter are looking for heroes who will open up their homes and foster so they can be rescued from the cold streets of Dallas! A photo of Walter standing in front of a church was widely circulated via social media and we had several folks message us about him so we went to check on Walter and his girlfriends. Heres the video from our first visit - they eagerly approached with wagging tails! We found that all three dogs are super sweet. Winter is a little more cautious than the other two but wags her tail and comes up to eat so theyll all likely do well once in warm, loving foster homes. Please email [email protected] if you can take any or all of these sweet dogs into your rescue group. Its ok to split them up. **FOSTERS ARE NEEDED - if youve thought about fostering, now is a great time to get involved! In order for a partner rescue group to take in a street dog, they typically need someone to step up to foster so please email [email protected] if youd like to learn more about fostering. DT6s niche is capturing elusive street dogs and we also do a lot of community outreach work. We are not as efficient as other groups when it comes to adopting dogs out so thats why we try to transfer whenever possible to groups who focus on adoptions as that way we can partner to save more lives. DT6 will sponsor $300 towards vetting ($100 per dog) and will increase the sponsorship if anyone is heartworm positive or has other major medical needs.
