Hey, everyone, go look at my site -- its all pretty and stuff. Finally, after more than a year, Ive redesigned The Matt Walsh Blog (well, Tyler at Liberty Alliance redesigned it), and now it looks somewhat more professional than the MySpace/LiveJournal 2001 vibe I had going on before. The new look is still simple and easy to navigate, but it will give me some important functional capabilities that I didnt have before. Some important features: -An organized system for speaking requests, interview requests, republishing requests, fan mail, hate mail, death threats, etc. If you sent me any of those previously -- particularly speaking or republishing requests -- and didnt get an answer, go ahead and fill in the forms and send it again. -An organized system for guest post submissions, and a dedicated part of the site for guest columns. Infamously, Ive invited guest posts in the past and never published any of them. Part of the reason behind that is that I lacked the organizational structure to field all of the submissions, and I didnt have a part of the site specified for guest columns. -A merchandise store, if youre interested. I think itll be a few days before the store is operational, so stay tuned. -News. The blog will always remain a place for opinion and commentary, but Ill also have a page for news, so that you can stay informed. -Alpaca grooming advice. This part of the site is under construction.
