#Hillmanology: Today, God showed me that he is always one step away from us. He sees our hearts, hears our cries and He understands. right now I am going through a very difficult time. I wondered if God cared and when he would shift this season in my life. today He spoke to me so clearly by a man I had never met before. I felt like the woman at the well, I wanted to run and say, Come see the man that told me all about me. It was not the flesh and bones that spoke to me but it was Gods loving spirit. In spite of the mistakes i have made, in spite of the feelings I allowed to run rampant in my life, in spite of the hurting words i spoke. God took time to speak directly to my broken heart. I felt his love so much I felt like my chest would cave in. He conformed some things and he gave me clear direction. He gave me hope again. He helped me to trust again. So this is what I want to say to you that read my post... if you are hurting for whatever reason and you feel God has abandoned you. You feel devastated or ignored. You want to know how long and when God will change the situation. I am here to tell you, what God does is better than changing the situation. He shows you how to change and walk in obedience. He shows you how to renew your mind and then he gives you instructions that will allow you to heal, be restored and move forward. You are not forsaken. You are not forgotten. Believe me, God knows your name and he is coming for you. He is coming to let you feel the complete weight of his love for you.
