As a matter of fact, I still ponder why a Nigerian Christian or Muslim minority should not support Jonathan, who has brought in equity in distribution of National offices as it should be. He even surrendered the Freedom of Speech and Association, we now use to insult him to Nigerians and have put a stop to the prior existing Point -And-Kill in high places . Apart from his unequaled outstanding performance, amidst a high wired sabotage that could dwarf any Guineas Book of Record. Was this Yeye C Don , writing and commenting with boldness when the likes of Pa Buhari were in power-armed with retroactive decree? Where was he then and what did he write about the selective judgement that characterized those Administrations? Who among this Igbos were as close to power, making enough decisions, the way we are today? Was Jonathan the architect of the brazen lopsidedness of Nigerian political structures? Recall it was in this same Nigeria that as recent as 1997, under Sani Abacha. All the Police commissioners in Nigeria were Muslims; is that acceptable in Nigeria of today? Check! Was that by accident or coincidence and how acceptable is that in Nigeria under a Jonathan? During Babangida era, He surreptitiously registered Nigeria in the Organization Of Islamic Conference [OIC], without the knowledge of the members of AFRC. The then 2ic , Rear Admiral Ebitu Ukiwe , was promptly relieved off his duty and retired for telling the world that he had the News about Nigerias membership of [OIC] , through the media like ordinary Nigerians. During Buhari era, a Muslim Muslim leadership of the nation was the in-thing, since Christians and southerners were relegated to second rated beings in their fatherland.
