****** Holiday Rally ***** As I mentioned to those at the social meeting tonight next year Lee Hyson and myself will be organising a Holiday Rally provisionally around the last week of May (Derbyshires Half Term Holidays) The flesh needs putting on the bones but after researching the trail centres in wales I seem to have stumbled across what appears to be the ideal site. Afan Forest Park, 7.5 miles from Port Talbot, 14 miles from Swansea, and according to Google a 3 hr 49 min drive from Bolsover, is a huge site and renowned as one of the best in the UK with many trails of varying grades and distances as can be seen at afanforestpark.co.uk/Default.aspx?page=6338. adjoined to the trail centre seems to be the most idyllic affordable camp site, with tonnes of facilities and all welcoming, with seemingly limitless pitches, and for those not wishing to camp or glamp there are cabins on site as well. the camp site can be found at brynbettws/find/. More details and confirmed dates will follow - but for now I just thought Id sew the seed of the Idea.
