I want to congratulate all the Women for their World Women Day. Yesterday I had a meeting with a great friend of mine called Edwin, he has a passion of empowering people in the areas of Peace, Leadership and democracy. We talked of the kind of impact you and me need to make for our generation interms of transformation. As I was going back home. I realized that if only you and I can become active in whatever we are doing. We can have an impact like Dr.Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Wangari Maathai and even the recent Lupita Nyong’o. Be active refers to your ability to remain active towards achieving your goal. You cannot realize your goal until you make consistent action towards it. Below are some basic understandings to help you: 1. Look back on a daily basis to see how much action you have done That is, look at the things you have achieved in that day, and quantify them. For example, if you are working in a sales job, you may have made 20 calls in a day. Or if you are an athlete like David Rudisha, you could have run 5km in a day. Whatever your materialization of your goal is, make sure you quantify the activities you have performed. As you do this, you will realize where in your day you are inefficient, and what you can do to raise the efficiency skyward. Some people get from the day while others go through the day. I want you this week to decide to get from the day by becoming active. However small or big the task is, just be active. 2. Have a plan of action every single day There is no such thing as a day off. The body was designed to follow its passion, and your passion doesnt require a day off, because it is the energy which is keeping you going. On a daily basis, make sure your plan is realistic and that you will be able to stick to it. One of my mentors is John C. Maxwell he says, failing to plan is planning to fail’ 3. Do your most important tasks first Important things, whether difficult or boring must be done. Sometimes your body may flinch and feel weak when you do something difficult or seemingly laborious. The truth of the matter is that you are undisciplined. As your discipline levels increase, you will find it much easier to perform large tasks in less time and with more efficiency. I am writing a book on how to solve any problem, prioritizing is key to your success. Do what brings the most value first then the next and you will see your success come much faster. 4. Make sure you think before acting This means that you shouldnt just launch into a task at the first thought you have. Everything which you do must be structured and follow an articulate plan of action. Even if a thought is a feeling and this will seriously help you towards the goal, it is still a good idea to think it through carefully until making a decision. The decisions you make today will sum up what you will achieve in the future, please read again the article I wrote on decision. Indecision is the thief of opportunity but right decisions is the key to success. What To Expect/Conclusion Remaining active and doing everything you can to reach your goal may seem like a laborious task. However, from correct understanding, your efficiency and speed on the task will increase considerably. Your first objective should be to see how much you are actually achieving in a day. The revelations and shock you will find here, will help to propel you upwards and become more efficient. Do a self analysis and block all the times you waste either talking about European League, chatting on face book, gossiping about politics or soap on television then be active and enlarge your vision and you will be on your way to success. Negative Manifestation By Wycliffe Mije Negative manifestation refers to the occurrence of events and situations which lead you away from the manifestation you want. This occurs within an overall system of manifestation. Below you will find some understandings to help you: 1. Negative manifestation is always a sequence There are no one-off negative occurrences. Negative manifestation is always a system which creates many negative manifestations one after another. 2. Negative manifestation arises from inefficiency Inefficiency can be separated into mind and body inefficiency. Mind inefficiency is that of lack of focus, direction, drive and planning. Body inefficiency is that of laziness, lack of discipline and poor habits. All of this will result in negative manifestation. What you must do is safe guard yourself from this by learning the correct system of manifestation. 3. Negative manifestation cannot be stopped when it is in progress That is, when the fundamental causes are there to allow it to take place, it will happen. The best you can do is to correct the deficiencies and be aware of where the deficiencies to cause the negative manifestation is. 4. Minor negative manifestation is your warning signal of what is in the process of becoming That is, as soon as you get some small negative manifestations, you know there is a bigger manifestation in the making. This small manifestation is therefore a warning of what is in the process of becoming. Your aim is to act immediately towards your aim to safeguard your progress. What To Expect/Conclusion To stop negative manifestation is an active process. This means you need to actively go out and create the manifestation you desire. To sit around and be lazy is the exact recipe which you dont want. God bless you. Laziness By Wycliffe Mije Laziness is the prime killer disease which has destroyed and will destroy the dreams of billions of people. In Africa and like most of other countries, and more so in Kenya where I live and do most of my mentorship programs. I have seen great intelligent people operate below capacity because they were lazy to take action to pursue their God given potential. Laziness is the greatest and most subtle parasite that could ever exist and so it is vital that we understand it properly so we can make ourselves immune from its effects. Below are the understandings to help you: 1. Laziness is subtle That is, it is not obvious when the beginnings of laziness will take their toll on you. Laziness creeps onto you so slowly that you will not notice it at all until it is too late. So if you see minor signs of laziness, know that the laziness is there and will creep on you. 2. Laziness is countered when you have a goal to strive towards As you strive towards your goals, with focus in mind and body, you will increase your control over your own mind and body. This allows you to eradicate the pitfalls of laziness completely. 3. Laziness is cumulative One small aspect of laziness will become bigger over time, eventually leading to widespread laziness and destruction. You must therefore keep an eye out for all forms of laziness which show in you. You can then trace this laziness back towards its roots, thus eliminating it. A good example is in some of the students of Wealth Academy, who started the program well, and after some time, they stop submitting their assignment then they stop looking at them then they dropped. The rest who continued are now doing business, writing book and have started speaking to others. 4. You must remain active and disciplined every day Of course, there are days when you can become genuinely tired, and this is acceptable. However, on every other occasion, we must ensure that we are remaining active and focused on our goals. 5. Lack of control in social situations is a key indicator of laziness If you find that you get walked-all over in social situations, then this is a sign that your frame of reality is weak. This allows for other peoples laziness to crop into you, and waste your time. Be focused and don’t just be everywhere without doing anything important, you become what I call a “busy body” Movies are good but it can lead to laziness 6. You must value your time at all costs. Every act and thing which you perform should be an investment, because this will allow for continual returns. When you combine this with focus, you automatically make sure that the investments you make are the ones which will allow for optimal returns. What To Expect/Conclusion When you take the decision to strike out and destroy laziness, it will never happen unless you maintain and develop a single minded focus to your goal in mind and body. This can only come about when you understand the factors that allow for control of the mind and body to take place in the first place: The energy, intent & action system of the laws of mind. Laziness is when your internal system fails to respond to external challenges in terms of action. Have a blessed weekend. Laziness kills our dreams. The only way you can succeed is when you put your dreams into work then you can maybe the following day, may be next week or next year enjoy the fruits of activity. Laziness is lack of a sense of urgency. Reflect on which are do you want to change and avoid laziness you might be active to eat but lazy to work them very soon you will lack food to eat.
