Homemade Chicken and noodles 5 lbs chicken Cook chicken in pot with enough water to cover until tender or pressure cook 30 min to expedite set aside to cool then remove skin and bones pull chicken apart. Keep broth for later 1/2 c. minced carrots 1/2 c. peas 1 tsp Marjoram 1 tsp. Rosemary 1/2 tsp Pepper 6 cups flour 6 eggs 2TBSP 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup water-may need more mix all ingredients (I use my hands add more water until you have a very stiff dough. Knead to mix thoroughly then roll out to 1/8 in thick cut in 1/2 inch wide strips dousing with lots of flour to keep from sticking together. Measure chicken broth and add either more broth or water to make 1 gallon (I use my canned chicken stock)add Marjoram, rosemary and pepper. bring to boil start dropping a handful of noodles in at a time and stirring often add all noodles to stock then add carrots. Simmer until noodles are done-about an hour then add chicken and peas. You can thicken this additionally or eat as it is
