“Hon, let’s take this to the next level!” is what I said to my hubby yesterday! I have such deep respect and love for him as he’s such a great husband and father that he even inspires me to be a better wife and mother! We’re not together because we’re obligated to do so, but because we’re living our best lives together! It’s amazing how over the years we’ve figured out what works for us! He is the head of our home and I see my role as his helper and I do my best to support him in whatever way I can. He said to me the other day, “You’re doing a great job with the kids.” I said back to him, “Wow, thank you, but do you realize that was a compliment you just gave me?” He’s not good at compliments, but if I’m going off track somewhere he’s quick to let me know! That’s him and I’m not going to love everything about him, but because I love and respect him so much I’m quick to forgive him for everything! I’m still a firm believer in the 80/20 rule where I focus on the 80% that I love about him and I’m a professional ignorer, kindly and respectfully of course, when it comes to the 20% that I’m not so in love with! Let’s kick it up a notch, Hon! “I can’t get over how God loves each and every one of us!” I just told someone this a few minutes ago! Last night I went to the food store and of all the registers to go to, I go to one where there is a lady who’s credit card transaction was being denied for her purchase. I remembered when I didn’t have enough cash on me one day to pay and the cashier offered to pay for me, that I told the lady, “Don’t worry I’ll pay for you!” It was only $24, but I felt God sent me there at the perfect moment to be there for her. She hugged me and I said, “God sent me here for you tonight!” We’re not the human race, we’re the human family! Let’s live kindly and love extravagantly! Rejoice and trust God always! Live kindly, love extravagantly, forgive everyone for everything and let everything you do be pleasing to God! WE GO WITH GOD!
