Gary Andrews (28:36) and Doubec Levick (28:37) ran with Anne-Marie, whilst Helen Baverstock (36:56) continued her return to running and parkruns. Fiona Montgomery (33:41) encouraged friend Vanessa around the wet and windy course, thats what Horley Harriers and parkruns are all about. Amazing efforts Harriers, superb running! Wayne Greaves and Sparky Marc Owen Marc Owen took on the Ashurst Cross Country 10km on Saturday. Wayne described the race as being like a half marathon as it was very hilly and very very muddy (see photo of his trainers post run). Brilliant efforts from you both! Colette Ansell ran the Bromley 10km on Sunday, kick starting her marathon training after 2 weeks of skiing. She finished in a time of 54:22. Colette described the course to be part path and part grass (muddy) which started and finished on a running track. This is similar to the K2 Crawley 10km that the Horley Harriers team won in September. Well done Colette and good luck with your marathon training. Fantastic half and full marathon training LSRs (long steady runs) from: Lisa Roberjot (13.4 miles), Sami Blackledge (13.1 miles), Andrew Sarson (10 miles), Doubec Levick (11.1 miles), Clare Hall (8.2 miles), Gary Andrews (10.6 miles), Leon Dury (hilly 5 miles), Chris Giggs (12.6 miles), Peter Longworth (15.5 miles), Mark Greaves (20 miles) and Kevin Rice (13.1 miles). Thank you for reading the review and it is always great to hear about how your running and training is progressing. There shall be Hellrunner transport updates posted this week so stay tuned. Monday Horley Harriers training will be the first 2km and 3km time trials of 2015. Dont miss out. If your legs are tired, why not use it as a recovery run and make the most of the sociable session and stretches. We look forward to seeing you at Horley Leisure centre ready to run for 6.30pm.
