How far is the crime scene from here? Its two hundred - TopicsExpress

How far is the crime scene from here? Its two hundred yards away up behind that building over there, Captain Ross answered pointing at a shack sitting by what appeared to be a junk pile. Thanks, I am going to get out here and walk over to the scene. Give me ten minutes alone at the site and then come over. This is how I work Captain so do not be offended or concerned. Yall got it Bryce. See yall in ten. Nodding his head in concurrence Bryce got out of the vehicle stretched and looked around him. As he slowly walked towards the shack he bent down and looked at this, kicked over a can to see what was under it and stopped and just looked at an area. It was like he saw more than what was there. As he got within five feet of the shack he stopped again and did a wide visual sweep of the crime scene then went into the shack. After a minute he exited the shack and walked into the junk sheet metal graveyard and stood by what looked like an old school locker and remained there until Captain Ross walked up to him asked a pertinent question. How in the hell did you know? Its not like you remembered it. You have never been here before, asked the good Captain. He parked his truck a hundred or so yards away from the entrance to the east on the right side. He walked carefree because he knew there was only one guard and he only controlled vehicle traffic, not foot traffic. After all, who would want to steal some old junk from the scrap pile. He came over to this spot and laid down the school locker he had brought with him, this one here, indicting the one on the ground next to them, and threw down a, a...decoy, something. Then he went inside this shack and waited. Waited for what? Bill interjected. For the victim. The killer knew the victim and lured him here with a promise of something, something tangible. He waited in the shack whittling something and eating an apple. How do you know that? There are wood splinters and apple skins in the corner by the window. Continuing Bryce said, He waited until the victim came and let him find the X that marked the spot so he could see the disappointment in his face. Then he walked out, probably holding a gun to prevent any retaliation and explained who he was and why he was. Then he beat the living shit out of him and placed a pair of his own soiled underwear on his head. Why didnt you tell me he had a gunshot wound in his leg? How...? He parked the truck where he did because it was the only place where he could get in and out undetected. He brought that locker with him because it is the only item in this pile of scrap metal that is not rusting and was what the victim, Corky, was facing when he died. Corky? Corky Johnson, the victim, remember? How did you...? Captain Ross gave the facial expression for Ohhh and Bryce returned the expression with the pointed finger, tilt of the head answer. The photographs at this scene showed many contusions and blood on Corkys face and torso. But I noticed there was an abnormal amount of blood on his right leg where his hand was lying. Also I found a shell casing that I bet matches the bullet you folks pulled out of Corkys leg. He was shot to immobilize him while our perp tried out for the Yankees on his head. Wow, you are good. Take me to the next crime scene, replied Bryce.
