#Hudhud Update: Packing winds blowing at 180 km/hr, #CycloneHudhud has made landfall at Kailashgiri near Vishakhapatnam. The Navy, the Army and other disaster response authorities are geared up for launching rescue operations. In the Bhogapuram mandal of Vizainagaram district we have a Disaster Risk Reduction Programme already underway in 10 villages of fishing community. While the evacuation of lakhs of people is going on and cyclone shelters are being readied, special arrangements for children (especially those who are 0-5 years old) and pregnant women need to be made.
