"I BRING BRING BRING BRING you now...the great philosophy of salvation, the hid den mystery, the great secret, the wonderful discov ery that is brought to light by the Gospel: how God is just and yet the justifier of the ungodly (Rom 3:26 ). Let us read the text again and then at once proceed to discuss it... “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in h im.” Note the doctrine... There are three persons mentioned here. “He (that i s, God ) hath made Him (that is, Christ ), Who knew no sin, to be sin for us ( sinners ) that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” Before we can understand the plan of salvation, it is necessary f or us to know something about the three persons. Un less we understand them in some measure, salvation is to us impossible. " Spurgeon
