~ I HAVE A QUESTION ~ Am I the only one that gets up at 3 AM. in the morning to watch... Mollie B Polka Party on RFDTV? I want to put on.... My polka, polka, polka shoes Mollie Busta, popular performer from the Jim Busta Band and Squeezebox, is host of the weekly RFD-TV Polka show, the Mollie B Polka Party. The one-hour program features the nations top polka bands and a wide-variety of ethnic styles produced on location at music festivals from around the country. Along with Ted Lange, Mollie B serves as Creative Director in expanding and improving RFD-TVs prime-time polka programming. The first tapings of the Mollie B Polka Party took place in Wahoo, Nebraska from June 13-16, 2011 at the Starlight Ballroom. RFD-TV used six high-definition cameras for the production, making it the first polka broadcasts to be shot and aired in true 1080i HD. Over 24 different bands were recorded over the four days, including two-hour sets by the Polka Nuts, the Jim Busta Band and Squeezebox. We are so excited to have Mollie bring her talents and knowledge of polka music to RFD-TV/RFD HD stated Patrick Gottsch, Founder & President of Rural Media Group, Inc. Mollies passion and enthusiasm for polka music is infectious. I have no doubt that our large polka-loving audience is going to embrace Mollies fresh approach and new ideas to take polka to the next level that RFD-TVs viewers have been requesting for quite some time. Over the past ten years, no television channel has done more for polka music than RFD-TV. Ted and I, along with the support of polka bands from all corners of this great country, look forward to helping RFD-TV take polka music into its next decade. Our goal is to put the best polka entertainment of all genres on RFD-TV, while providing tremendous exposure and an opportunity for the bands added Ted Lange.
