" I NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO UNDER GO SURGERY; BASHIRU ANTIKU" Bashiru Antiku is pupil of Huriya JHS an Islamic school in the upper west region. He reside in Wa Zongo. A source told HINTS NEWS that the said boy had a swallowed jaw and needs to go under surgery immediately or may loose his life if not done. Our news team visited the boys house this morning to fine out the plans put in place to have the said surgery done. The team did not meet the parents but were told that, the boy left for school in that condition. We traced to his school and were told that two of his teachers have tasked themselves to take him round schools in the region to seek for financial assistance. The said teachers Mr Musah Iddrisu, Mr. Patrick and the boy were spotted in one of the Jujeidayiri JHS going into class after class soliciting for funds from pupils and teachers. Mr. Patrick narrated the boys ordeal indicating that, the boy is one of the brilliant students in the school and the school can not afford to lose him. Vodafon Gh has pledged to bare the cost of the surgery, but have asked the parents to bring the cost analysis of the surgery from a reputable hospital, the parents have been refered to travel to Accra Hospital to get the analysis presented before Vodafon Gh can take it from there. We started the rounds yesterday and we have been able to raise a pretty sum of money but we reallized that it will not suffice the course that is why we are still moving round, he quickly added.
