***I WAS DISGUSTED BY CHURCH THIS EVENING*** I went to church this evening. Fantastic service, beautiful hymns, until they invited a an evangelical/apocalyptic pastor from Jamaica who was trained in the United States. Let us just say.... I WAS DISGUSTED at his DIATRIBE and HATRED he spewed against Muslims. This is not the way, the church should never be used to advance religious fundamentalism, because then we become no better than those who indoctrinate their congregations to abuse and to assault Gods children. I was so disgusted at his so called message that I did not even agree, I didnt say amen, I didnt even sing along or say thanks be to God. That is not Gods word or work, he cant be serving the same God I am serving. Because my God is all encompassing and my God is all loving. Today, I did a testimonial and said that I hadnt come to church in a while, but today I feel reinvigorated, today I feel at one and it is a pleasure to join with my family and extended family, the church, because God is great, and he loves all. Well Mr Jamaican Fundamentalist Apocalyptic Pastor had a problem with that. He said well who ever dont come to church, FIRE BUN DEM because they clearly dont believe in God, whoever dont fast and whoever sin, FIRE BUN DEM because God dont recognize persons who dont put him first. He said HOW DARE WE put him second and put our lives, work and play I front of him and HOW DARE WE SIN... At which point I completely turned off in disgust and made it known. What the hell is the church doing, inviting disgusting creatures of division. I had to ask myself... Why do we allow ourselves to be corrupted by Christian Fundamentalists, why are we entertaining fools whose agenda it is to divide us based on religion/race? Ive never gone to church before and had to endure that level of grotesque propaganda. I mean the guy spoke about Arabs and how the Muslims will soon take over the Christians as the number 1 religion and they are quickly assembling, he said those Islamists believe they can blow each other up and they will get 70 virgins. No where in the Quran does it talk about blowing themselves up for 70 virgins. Those who subscribe to that are TERRORIST FUNDAMENTALISTS like he is a CHRISTIAN one. NEVER BEFORE HAVE I HEARD SUCH FILTH SPEWED IN CHURCH. NEVER BEFORE!!!! Why the #^#%} if it is one thing God told us not to do, is to judge others, because that is a SIN. We are to love our neighbours and keep our enemies close, we arent suppose to be bothering with others, but bothering with Gods word, his work and his light. I dont ever want to hear ANYTHING like that again in my life. The scariest thing is that you have IDIOT Christians who are just agreeing with whatever he spews. HOW CAN YOU DO THIS? Then call yourself Christian? Some of these religious leaders are VERY DANGEROUS
