: I always find it amazing the reception that the Habs get when they arrive in western Canada. This is something that I never grasped and only really understood when I moved to Calgary. I’ve been to many Mtl-Flames games over the years, and each time I am in awe at the reception that the Habs receive, and the thousands of Habs fans that turn out. More so now because the team only makes one visit/year. This reception, I think, is probably taken for granted by fans in Mtl, but you really have to experience it to believe it.
