I am about to build a Hot House. Before building it, I would like to learn more how can Plant in the glasshouse raise so well all the year round. Lets get acquisition of the knowledge together. Daylight from the sun consist of rather short Wave lenght radiation, with about ten percentages being ultraviolet (UV), about 40% being visible and approximately fifty percentages being short wave length near infrared ray. This radiation is Absorbed by the objects of the Earth or inside the Hot House. In the Forcing House, the glass bounces the long Wave lenght Infrared Radiation (IR) back down. This trapped long wavelength IR is absorbed by Objects, which induce further heating, and the cycle keeps on. In consequence, the greenery house acts as solar collectors.
