“I am come in My Fathers name,” said Jesus, “and you RECEIVE Me NOT: if ANOTHER shall come in HIS OWN NAME, him you WILL RECEIVE” (John 5:43)… Is Jesus PROPHESYING about TODAY’S CHURCH here or what? Because it’s like PULLING TEETH to get so-called Christians to DO much of anything, if anything, for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But let the PASTOR or some PROPHELYING PROPHET or some FAKE WANNABE APOSTLE tell them to do something and they CANNOT MOVE FAST ENOUGH! This is especially TRUE in the ORGANIZED CHURCH. If Jesus tells us to DO something, we won’t MOVE on it until we get MAN’S APPROVAL from LEADERSHIP. And if LEADERSHIP for whatever reason says “NO” or “WAIT” or “It’s NOT TIME YET” – we’ll BUCKLE to the TRADITIONS of men. This is WHY church pews stay OCCUPIED by God’s people who aren’t DOING anything for Jesus, but are all about PLAYING CHURCH. For instance, Jesus COMMANDED (not SUGGESTED) us ALL to go out into the WORLD and SPREAD the Gospel MESSAGE so that the SINNER can HEAR it, REPENT and be SAVED. Yet how many so-called Christians in any given CHURCH is actually going outside the 4-walls of their CHURCH to REACH OUT to the LOST with SALVATION? We don’t “GO” because the LEADERSHIP over us hasn’t TOLD us to “GO.” In our minds, what THEY say SUPERSEDES what Jesus has said. But it’s TIME for us to STOP receiving the PERSON of people who aren’t ENCOURAGING, INSPIRING, or DISCIPLING us to OBEY Jesus; but rather, are HINDERING, BLOCKING, and STOPPING us from FOLLOWING Him!!!
