~ I am so blessed & honored to be a part of Green River Baptist Church.. I had a friend to call me from another town this morning.. Single, hard working Mama who has been out of work awhile.. She asked if I knew if anywhere in her town that would help her with groceries for a few days.. Not knowing what resources that town has, I did what came natural to me & called our church office.. Within the hour, I had gone to our food closet and with the help of our deacons, collected several bags of groceries & money to go and purchase perishable items at our local grocery store.. Green River is the most caring, loving, giving group of people I have ever known.. These are the folks who sent Nick so many care packages in Afghanistan that he had to give stuff away!! Our church offers so many services to so many people.. I am so very thankful that I was raised in this church & raised my child there too... It truly is a blessing to be a part of the greatest family in the world.. As Brother Cal always says.. You cant outgive God!! thank you, Lord!! ❤🙏❤~
