“I can’t believe I work in a place where you can get 300 people in a room and make them happy all at once. They want to be here. They’re excited to be here.” Congratulations to my friend Mohsin Kazmi who has brought youthful energy, creativity, and genuine caring to the New River Valley from his native New Jersey in this great article about the newly renovated and re-opened Radford Theater. Never one to take an easy route through life, Mohsin also leads tours in the Amazon where he wrestles with anacondas and seeks out exotic animals. A recent Tech graduate, Mohsin headed home for awhile before concluding that his heart was here in the NRV, surrounded by other Hokies. His baby sister Masooma is an incoming freshman this year, lured by her big brothers love of this place and our amazing university. Thanks also to buddy Ralph Berrier Jr. for bringing us this great story, in a The Roanoke Times edition filled with the joy of an historic Hokie victory in Ohio last night.
