: I congratulate myself for receiving such a reaction from a TMC supporter but this is not new to me at all. I have faced such attack publicly many a times, and sometimes from people who call themselves gender conscious, and when they cannot counter me politically, they indulge in facebook fights to malign me personally, and that too they call ten more boys to bully me publicly, yet they are not uneducated, moreover, they are involved with gender based magazines and forums, yet they feel terrorised when a girl comes to the fore front to TALK. YES, Big brothers, the feminine gender of NETA is NETRI. For a change, LEARN that. Now coming to this public shaming and my response to that. I, Arumita Mitra, will continue to fight with all my valour and integrity against gender violence and moral policing, and no matter what you say or do or comment, it will all be in vain, as you should know, that, I am NOT afraid of anything you do, neither do I think you will ever be successful in shutting my mouth. I will and always will shout and fight against any injustice I see and moreover, your campaign gives me more courage to fight as my struggle is successful in stimulating your sheer patriarchal nature which makes you write all these about me. If you think that questioning a woman about her character is the best weapon you have to stop me from fighting, then, you are so wrong to judge me, because for you women may be an object to satisfy your needs, but unlike your thought, women will come forward to speak up against any injustice and will not fall back because of your public shaming and character assassination. Period.
