This isnt a boycott Japan message - if so boycott the grocery story where you live - since animals were killed in similar manor for food. LOOK AT YOUR PLATE next time you sit down to eat - IF IT CONTAINS ANIMALS... THEY TOO HAD A HORRIBLE DEATH. Not to mention the fur industry, or animal experimentation! I say this now... If you have a problem with this and you dont have a problem eating other animals - you need to wake up to a expanded world view of how shitty the human race is against animals. Today I said to someone here in Taiji, The Cove changed my life in more ways than just dolphins - I thank Ric, the filmmakers, and actually the fishermen themselves for helping to bridge the gap to being vegan. It was a statement by fishermen in a Japanese video who said basically WHY DOLPHINS SO SPECIAL? EATING COWS AND PIGS IS OK?. From my perspective, I think Taiji has turned many people vegan by standing up for that premise. Activism started and stopped at signing petitions. After being here the first time in 2012 - I can say being an activist in many areas of animal rights and welfare is now my world.
