I dont want to hurt anyones feelings, I know were all on the same side here, but do some of you keep up on these taiji reports? I see over & over people questioning why the cove guardians dont set them free & I see the guardians & other commenters explain over & over why they cant cut nets or set them free. Im kind of getting tired of people thousands of miles away judging & questioning the ones that are there witnessing & trying to help. Just watching this in person has to be emotionally shattering to these people that love these animals as much as we do, or more because their putting their time, money & emotions into it & were not. Were watching videos & griping! Now FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME...they cant just cut the nets, they will be arrested, deported & banned. They are being watched by taiji police 24/7. The captives wont just leave because they are sick, afraid, emotionally shattered, grieving & waiting for their pod mates that will never come. Things are bad enough without others complaining about the way the job is being done or badmouthing the people that are actually helping. We all know that this is cruel & inhumane but right now, were the only ones that know. We need the guardians there to be our eyes & ears so the rest of the world will eventually know. Keep in mind, this barbaric behavior is legal there. No one can interfere. If you all have a better plan on what will work better, please feel free. Im sure the guardians would appreciate your help more than your judgements.
