I feel ya Raven Symone except that IGNORANCE is never an excuse. Claiming IGNORANCE in the INFORMATION AGE where geneaology and genetic sciences can rediscover lost heritage is an embarrassment, especially to an individual of means like yourself. How naive and immature of you to discard your heritage so capriciously. Dont you know that as far back as your parents, you would have had ZERO choice in the matter? You and they would have been labelled and sociopolitically excluded from mainstream society. You are correct that people placing labels on you sucks generally and that we are a composite of many different strands, but that truth aside, the fact of the prevailing lie- whiteness, of white identity and supremacy, unaddressed, unattended makes your premature flight to non-identity irresponsible and embarassingly stupid.
