"I get letters as well, and they’re so full of love. That’s awesome, because love is the secret to happiness. It’s really quite simple. The heart pumps joy into the kind person, and pumps other things into the cold hearted person. It’s not easy being kind hearted, especially when people take kindness for weakness. But when you go to sleep at night, you’ll be blessed with peace. Those are just the laws of the universe. That’s the way God made stuff to be. I like talking about love because it’s the most powerful thin in the world. That’s what God is made out of, so that’s the perfect example of how powerful it is. Love is unshaken and fearless. It’s easy to be a damn fool, and hurt people, but the bravest people help people. You might hear someone tell you, “Why do you talk to that girl? She’s such a nerd.” Or, “Why would you give that dude anything? He’ll never return the favor.” But any act of kindness will be paid back seven fold. I’m not saying that life is easy because it will still beat you up at times, but the joy of a true soldier never leaves. It keeps the soldier strong."
