:( I had to give Aubrey her first pep talk today. She was upset because the girls at school yelled Ewwwwww and ran away when she told them she liked Toy Story. It broke my heart. I asked her how it made her feel and she said it made her feel sad. And then she played alone for a bit. I gave her a pep talk and told her that it was ok to like boy stuff and to always be herself. I told her I loved that about her. She asked why. I told her I loved it because she was different and it made her interesting and fun. INSERT BIG SMILE!!!!! Kids learn at such a young age to judge. I told her to just walk away and play with the boys! Thats what Mama always did.
