🔥 I just re-purchased this album last week in the new deluxe box set of the 30-year-old release from 1984. Good friends of mine are surprised that I call this my favorite U2 album. They say things like what about the Joshua tree? But this is the album that broke away from the sound of the first three records and with Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois fresh from a couple of years of experimentation and artistic creativity in the audio field producing it, they hooked up and created something truly magical that blurs the lines of Art and pop. Its a very majestic album when you listen into the background and you hear and see the sonic landscape going on behind whats upfront. And this song is a good example of that.
