I just watched a documentary on Africa and its hidden history that literally blew my mind! Im a forever changed man, and couldnt be more proud of my heritage. African Americans, Hispanics, South Americans, and all the people of the slave trade are the only ones on this plant who dont really know their history prior to slavery. Africans were the first people on this planet and their stories, conquests, and dynasties have all been hidden from history.. The movie discusses the role of African and aboriginal people in history and states that some contributions have not been properly recorded or credited to them. This documentary features several interviews with people such as scholars, historians, and social commentators. It claims that Africans were the first to circumnavigate the globe and that there was pre-European settlement in the United States, that Africans created the first Asian dynasties and that the Vatican created Egyptology. For Centuries the rich History of Africa was hidden from its people. Africa was home to an advanced culture of people. The civilization thrived as a sophisticated trading center from around 1200 to 1300 AD. It was the center of the largest kingdom in the sub-continent, where a highly sophisticated people traded gold and ivory with China, India and Egypt. The fact that African had a highly civilized existence hundreds of years before the first Europeans arrived was too much for any settler to bear ..Thank you Stacy Harris for telling me about this video..
