For all those people who thought that it was just a teen wasting time on a messaging app or too busy taking pictures or selfies, think again! Snapchat has teamed up with mobile payment service Square to enter the money transfer game. Launched on Monday, Snapcash allows Snapchat users to send & receive money from their recent contacts within few minutes. There are two different ways to send money. The easiest is to type a dollar amount into a Snapchats chat screen, which turns the yellow send message button into a green dollar sign.You can also send money using the apps swipe-to-send feature by typing three dollar sign into the chat window. The first time you send money, the app prompts you to link a debit card to your account via Square.The app also places some limits on how much money can be sent and received. When first using the feature, users are limited to sending $250 a week, though that limit can be raised to as much as $2,500 according to Snapchat.
