....I recently talked with someone who was very hurt by something they found out about one of their parents ..after..that parent was deceased. I have thought much about how this person must feel. Without me knowing all the facts, I have still come to realize this....FEW PEOPLE ARE REALLY OPEN BOOKS.....Most of us have a few mistakes, a few things that we have done that is best left in the closet. Unfortunately sometimes, the very things we try to hide from the people we love most, our children, will come out when we are gone. Sometimes it is truths, sometimes it is lies. Either way, we are left unable to defend ourselves at that point. I know after I am deceased there will probably be things said about me. True or not. At that point, I hope my children will forget whatever they have heard, and KNOW that THEY KNEW ME BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE!,,So, my advice is....leave it alone and remember the great times.
