: I was made to understand last night that, the Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Ameachi has said, he will personally lead the Save Rivers State Movement (SRSM) Launch at Bori on Saturday January 25 th, 2014. Permit me to say here that inasmuch as everyone has an inalienable right to launch whatever he wills (SRSM inclusive), so long it does not infringe on some others’ rights; common sense dictates that for Mr. Amaechi to insist on planting a Movement that is not an Ogoni-based as such, with the consciousness of its consequences on the people who are already volatile (with supports from agents and disciples), is not only ill-advised, inhumane but a continuity of the killing spry which he and Mr. Nyesom Wike, in collaboration with our Ogoni politicians started at Sogho and neighboring Communities. In my capacity as the Administrator of the Ogoni Environmental Protection Agency (OGEPA) and a foremost Human Rights Activist, of Ogoni extraction; I hereby humbly advise our governor, as well as Mr. Wike and their supporters to PLEASE launch their Movements elsewhere for the now, in the name of peace and humanity. As none of you are a friend of Ogoni and will not be. I and my colleagues believe that this battle is for the soul of Rivers State (and Ogoni); it is for your individual and selfish gains, and not for the interest of all, as you would like us to believe, hence you have continued to use human lives to further this cause. For Ogoni people, it will be a mistake of a lifetime to be deceived or coerced into bearing arms for any of these fellows, in the name of politics and/or whatever. OGEPA as a body, is concerned about the lives the environment our people inhabit and is appalled with the degenerating standard of our body politics. Thank you all JOHN LAR-WISA
