“I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds”(Psalm 9:1). When we want/need something, we generally cry out to God in hopes He will not only hear but answer our requests. However, when our lives are full, blessed beyond anything for which we could hope or imagine, how many times do we truly thank God for all He has done? How many of us, like a spoiled child, just expect things to be given to us. When they aren’t, we pout, throw a fit, and even sometimes blame God? And, also like a spoiled child, how many of us don’t say thank You for all he does, even when things don’t go exactly as we had hoped or planned? We need to praise God, not just in the good times, but all the time. Continually thanking and glorifying His name.
