I’ll tell my friends to a certain extent but, even then, I don’t want to tell them because I don’t want it to affect their view of me” – MS survey respondent The workplace participation rate for people living with a disability is almost three times lower than the rest of the population. That’s despite research proving workers who live with a disability take fewer sick days, are less likely to resign and have no differences in productivity, performance and cost. There are still negative perceptions of employing someone with disability.
