#IELTS Writing Tip How to do Task 1 – Objects/how something works • Spend about 5 minutes studying the object and preparing your answer. • Make sure you understand how the object works. Find the most logical place to begin a description of the object. • If you don’t know the precise word to describe part of the object, think of another way of saying it. You are not expected to have technical knowledge. • Concentrate on significant features. • You are not being asked for the reasons for the development of the object, just a description of it.
