“IM TELLING YOU, I DID NOT BUY YOUR LUNCH!”: On my way to Scrambler the other day, I was at a red light & for some reason looked over & it was an Emmaus friend, driving a business truck! We waved & that was neat:) 12-4, Wed., Josh Dexter came into Scrambler:) He is a hoot:) I think it was a different day later that he came in & David said something about him celebrating his retirement, because Praises (Christian Book Store – where he worked) was going out of business soon or just had. Sad face. :( … Chuck & Alice came in – love that couple! Lela & Cindy came in to see the Christmas trees & ate:) Sweet Fran came in & after she ate, she came up to me & was convinced that I had bought her lunch, but I hadnt bought he lunch! It was someone else, but for some reason, she thought it was me! So that makes me want to take care of her lunch the next time! Ha! It kinda made me feel bad maybe, me trying to convince her that I didnt buy her lunch :/ Kinda awkward. Well anyway... she could use prayer. She has been struggling with cancer & lost a daughter to cancer in the past. She was only in her 20s if I remember correctly. She wears a certain necklace in her honor. So anyway, I was trying to tell her that I didnt buy her lunch & she says, “Youre not a good fibber.” Oh my... So I guess ACTUALLY, I wasnt good at the truth! I asked her server about it & it a daughter of hers that paid for it :) … Later after closing, Shannon was in the area to go to work at Mark Pis & so we went outside & talked a while:) After work, I stayed at Scrambler & did some catalog shopping!
