******IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2014********** The THA emails to hockey players has started to filter out to you. In it you will be getting your new password and log-in usernames. All hockey players Australia-wide will now be logged onto an online system, called IMG database. This system stores a profile and you have already been placed into it. Different levels will have different access to your information to keep it secure: so select Queensland Hockey and THA officials can access some areas, select Norths officials can access some, and you some, but others cannot. You take this profile with you, wherever you go, regardless of club or location. So if you are moving to Townsville and join a team there, your profile with us goes with you and they can see your relevant details of where you played, any notes (eg. behavioural issues or disciplinary actions), and if you are financially cleared or not. Obviously, if you still owe any outstanding amounts to Norths, it would be a good idea to pay it off, as those amounts will be added to your profile and you will be designated unfinancial, Australia-wide. If you have specific enquiries about possible outstanding amounts owed, contact me (David Hilton) as the Treasurers position has just changed but I will try and find out for you. Be aware I will be away for a week in December. You will be able to register early for your 2014 season as well, once THA and Norths fees are established and listed online. Please be sure to read all policies and codes of conduct which will govern the year. These can be enforced at any time by Norths or the THA. By clicking continue you are agreeing to those terms as if you signed your name. ***ALL players MUST be registered prior to taking the field for ANY games next year. Times things are done in IMG are time-stamped by the system as to when they were done. Registration is done online, or at our sign on we can do it online for you, along with the new players. *** NOTE: Unless it is changed in the off-season, it is THA POLICY that ANY game/s played incur FULL FEES. This includes if a player suffers injury (except upon conditional review by THA Board). If you have more than one player in your family, please consider putting away some dollars for their fees, as currently it is being debated by both the THA and Norths whether fees will be paid upfront online prior to taking the field. Please note that the THA website portal will go to Queensland Hockey when you are looking at your profile online, and this is normal. **** Did you know? It looks like in 2014 the own goal rule will be scrapped. Each Associaton will let us know if they decide to scrap it for the coming season, or prior to the 2015 season.
