We have a very IMPORTANT and NEW announcement from EPIK, please take a look at this carefully. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Criminal Record Check Issue Date CRC is only good when issued after August 1st, 2014 . For those who already got the FBI CRC issued before August 1st, you may use an FBI-Approved Channeler to pace up the speed. Standards have been tighter than last term so EPIK won’t accept the CRC issued before August 1st. We are sorry to inform you of these abrupt changes all of a sudden all at once. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Apostille Only in Washington, DC (Applicable to All US Applicants) Take your CRC to the Department of Authentications in Washington, DC for getting an apostille. EPIK won’t accept state level apostilles like it used to. Sorry for those who already got apostilles in counties but you will have to get staples taken out and have a new apostille on it in the Department of Authentications in Washington, DC. To get your CRC apostilled fast, US Legalization can obtain a Federal Apostille from the US Department of State in Washington DC for you in as little as one business day. If you ever stayed longer than a year outside of your home country, you are required to submit both CRCs from a third country and from your home country.
