**IMPORTANT REMINDER*** BBPA Annual General Meeting *Please submit your Board Nomination or Renew Your Membership By the End of the Day Today BBPA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Thursday, February 6th, 2014 @ 6:30PM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA) will be held on Thursday, February 6th, 2014 at Metro Hall in Rooms 308 - 309, 55 John Street, Toronto at 6:30PM, for the following purposes: 1. Receiving the financial statement of the Association for the year ending March 31st, 2013 and the report of the Treasurer. 2. To discuss the BBPAs strategic priorities. 3. To elect Directors for the following terms: Two Year Term: President (1) Vice President (1) Harry Jerome Awards Co-Chair (1) Events Chair (1) Directors at Large (2) Corporate Secretary (1) The Nominations Committee along with members shall nominate candidates for the various vacant positions in accordance with Article 7.10 of the Constitution. All nominations received from the membership shall be in writing addressed to the Secretary of the Nominations Committee and accompanied by the written consent of the member(s) nominated together with a copy of the nominees resume, application and nomination form(s). All written nominations are to be received by the Nominations Committee no later than Friday, January 24th, 2014.
