“IN A COUNRTY WHERE THE UNITY IS FARSE, WEALTH IS SOMETHING TO BE ASHMED OF; AND ALSO A COUNTRY WHICH IS TRUTHFULLY ORGANIZED; POVERTY IS SOMETHING TO BE ASHMED OF”CONFUCIUS. With all the pretense of wanting a breakup Nigeria as the last solution for the inability of the north to rule one Nigeria exclusively forever, relating to latest moves by powerful core north, demanding for the immediate break up of Nigeria, which could be interpreted as the new dynamics in the politics of dynamism and self-determination. Northerners being disturbed about the way the federal power is now impacting the north. This is something they have experienced, of which, the south had suffered for almost 38 years under them, and still suffering from till date, see this latest challenges in their region as something they cannot live with. Rather than continuing to live under these conditions in the country to which they belong, they would prefer that the country should be broken-up “for every region to go its own away” When Obasanjo and now Jonathan are two southerners, which one had ruled before, and the other still ruling, the core-north that built this federal behemoth had built it so perfectly (on roots of human frailties) that it would always operate as designed by the core-north, no matter what part of Nigeria the President comes from. In fact, the Presidencies of Obasanjo and the current incumbent are final proof that the character of the Nigerian federal establishment is unchangeable. Who made it so? As the system is, anybody who is president will always presume that it is part of his prerogative to handle Nigeria’s vast revenues as personal Estate, to rig elections in any part of Nigeria, to discriminate against any part of region, or people, and to bully and subdue the government of any State. Even now, Ladies and gentlemen, that the northern elites have discovered the oppressive side of federal power, they still strangely, out of habit, want to preserve it---for what purpose, Omo-oduduwa? While complaining against it! In the ongoing National conference, they are still fighting might and mane to preserve the federal status-quo. Omo-oduduwa efunra! Therefore, there is no other option than to do what the Arewa Youth leaders demand— Namely, to dissolve Nigeria, “for every region to go on its own way” Alhaji maitama sule wants dialogue. Hopefully, the dialogue will be to pave way for our new countries-The Republic of Delta, Biafra, Oduduwa, Arewa, Niger-Benue, Kanem. The Arewa Youths speak for most Nigerians, except the few politicians and retired Head of States, and maybe, people like Aliko Dangote. Alhaji Maitama Sule is right. The world can never be governed by force or by fear. We are going to break-up, Omo-Oduduwa join the crusade now, or you may be left behind. On Oduduwa Republic, We stand forever.
