BRIEF: A cold front was still located to our north, this front is expected to slowly wander southward over the next 24 hours as a low pressure system develops in the gulf. As the gulf system takes shape we expect widespread rains to overspread the county later today. Rains, off and on will last through Wednesday morning with the system pulling away and cool high pressure building in, ending the rain and clearing the skies by Wednesday evening. CAUTIONS: Thunderstorms: - Lightning Rainfall: - 2-3 inches of rain Tue & Wed possible TODAY AND TONIGHT: Clouds increasing however there will be some brighter and maybe sunny spells. A few passing showers or a period of rain possible through the early afternoon. Then expect outbreaks of periods of rain in the afternoon lasting into the overnight hours, The rainfall could be heavy at times with some thunder. Winds southwest to west at 10 mph. Highs near 75.
